Senior IT Administrator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Administrator to oversee our internal IT infrastructure, systems, and services.

Job Overview

This role will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and alignment with business objectives of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure seamless IT operations.
  • Administer and optimize enterprise platforms, manage and support Windows and macOS environments, and oversee cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost optimization.
  • Manage the IT service desk, use IT Service Management (ITSM) for incident, request, and asset management, and ensure IT support meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and delivers a high-quality employee experience.
  • Manage endpoint security policies, support audits, evidence collection, and continuous control monitoring, and ensure adherence to data protection and privacy requirements.
  • Lead and mentor IT team members, manage relationships with technology vendors and contractors, and evaluate and implement new tools to enhance IT services.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior IT role within a SaaS or cloud-first environment.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft systems, networking, remote work, and cloud systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of ITSM tools and solid understanding of IT security, compliance frameworks, and modern identity/access management.
  • Strong networking background with problem-solving skills, demonstrated experience with compliance programs, excellent leadership, communication, and vendor management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling SaaS company with distributed or hybrid workforce experience, familiarity with automation tools, and exposure to enterprise networking, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Zero-Trust architectures.
