We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Thetalentplaybook. As a Specialty Coffee Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing customers' coffee sales through engagement, education, and coffee training.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase coffee sales and customer engagement.
- Provide coffee training and education to customers, including barista and equipment training.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including owners, managers, and baristas.
- Conduct regular site visits to check on and maintain espresso equipment and assets.
- Support the Espresso Window and Events teams as required.
- Collaborate with the Territory Manager to acquire new accounts through tastings and prospecting activities.
- Develop and update a weekly visitation plan to maximize efficiency and time management.
- Complete internal general administration, information management, and sales-related documentation.
- Network in the local specialty coffee industry and provide regular industry intel to the Marketing team.
- Stay up-to-date on coffee, equipment, training, sales, and account management best practices.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Barista and/or cafe owner.
- Strong people, relationship, and sales skills.
- Advanced coffee training skills.
- Customer solutions-focused.
- Personal integrity.
- Goal-oriented and a high achiever.
- Positive outlook and attitude.
- Sense of urgency and follow-through on commitments.
