
Water Chemistry Specialist

This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals with a strong foundation in water chemistry and maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular water testing and chemical balancing to ensure optimal pool conditions.
- Record all test results accurately and maintain detailed logs for future reference.
- Maintain pool water levels, cleanliness, and overall aesthetic appeal.
- Clean and service filters, chlorinators, skimmers, and vacuum systems to ensure peak performance.
- Inspect and maintain dosing and metering equipment, receiving training as needed.
- Assist with scooping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning of pools to maintain exceptional quality.
- Conduct regular plant room checks to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Support minor repairs and report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance procedures for pool equipment to prevent downtime.
- Follow established guidelines and complete daily task checklists with attention to detail.
- Attend team meetings and safety briefings to stay informed and engaged.
- Adhere to Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
- Properly use all safety and personal protective equipment to minimize risks.
- Demonstrate safe work practices and lead by example in maintaining a positive and healthy work environment.
- Immediately report WHS incidents, injuries, or near misses to your Manager and First Aid personnel.
- Promote hazard and near-miss reporting among colleagues and actively contribute to improving workplace safety.
- Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss safety topics and contribute to ongoing improvements.
