Water Quality Specialist

This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals with a strong foundation in water chemistry and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform regular water testing and chemical balancing to ensure optimal pool conditions.
  2. Record all test results accurately and maintain detailed logs for future reference.
  3. Maintain pool water levels, cleanliness, and overall aesthetic appeal.
  4. Clean and service filters, chlorinators, skimmers, and vacuum systems to ensure peak performance.
  5. Inspect and maintain dosing and metering equipment, receiving training as needed.
  6. Assist with scooping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning of pools to maintain exceptional quality.
  7. Conduct regular plant room checks to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  8. Support minor repairs and report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
  9. Participate in scheduled maintenance procedures for pool equipment to prevent downtime.
  10. Follow established guidelines and complete daily task checklists with attention to detail.
  11. Attend team meetings and safety briefings to stay informed and engaged.

  • Adhere to Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
  • Properly use all safety and personal protective equipment to minimize risks.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices and lead by example in maintaining a positive and healthy work environment.
  • Immediately report WHS incidents, injuries, or near misses to your Manager and First Aid personnel.
  • Promote hazard and near-miss reporting among colleagues and actively contribute to improving workplace safety.
  • Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss safety topics and contribute to ongoing improvements.
