Water Quality Team Member

The Water Quality Team Member plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, and operational aquatic environments for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine water testing and chemical balancing as per set procedures.
  • Record all water chemistry results accurately in logbooks or digital systems.
  • Monitor and maintain pool water levels.
  • Clean and maintain filters, chlorinators, skimmers, and pool vacuum systems.
  • Inspect and maintain dosing and metering equipment (training provided).
  • Assist with scooping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning of pools.
  • Conduct plant room checks and ensure spaces are clean and hazard-free.
  • Support minor repairs and report any faults or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance procedures for pool equipment.
  • Follow instructions and complete daily task checklists.
  • Attend team meetings and safety briefings.
  • Cooperate with other Facilities team members and park departments as needed.

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):

  • Comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Use personal protective equipment correctly.
  • Demonstrate safe work behaviours and lead by example.
  • Report any WHS incidents, injuries, or near misses to your Manager immediately.
  • Actively promote hazard and near-miss reporting.
