We are seeking experienced professionals to fill the role of Explosive Operations Specialist.

The job requires strong technical skills and extensive experience in explosive operations, particularly in shotfiring and MPU operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations
  • Conducting site assessments and developing operational plans
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring its optimal performance

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

This is a permanent full-time position available within the Bowen and Galilee Basins. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will be offered on a 7:7 even time roster with flexible travel arrangements dependent on site and location.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in shotfiring or MPU operations
  • Standard 11 qualification or willingness to obtain
  • QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card or ability to obtain one
  • Relevant qualifications, licenses, and clearances for the role
