Technical Service Professional

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to provide technical support for on-site equipment and perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs in the field.

Your Role

  • Provide technical assistance for mobile units and explosive delivery systems.
  • Perform scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs in the field.
  • Assist with calibration, system checks, and operational readiness of mobile units.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in remote environments.
  • Complete and submit service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
  • Support the commissioning and decommissioning of field equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with blasting teams and site supervisors to ensure equipment availability.
  • Promote a safe working environment and adhere to industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Trade qualification in mechanical, automotive, or diesel fitting.
  • Experience in mobile equipment servicing or field-based technical support.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability in hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Current manual driver's license (HR license desirable or willingness to obtain).
  • Familiarity with explosive delivery systems is advantageous.
  • Sound understanding of safety protocols in mining or industrial sites.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in small teams.
  • A current explosives security clearance or the ability to obtain.
  • Physical fitness and readiness for demanding work.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and relevant computer software.
