Formulation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of pigments and their properties, as well as experience in the plastics industry (desirable). Key responsibilities include developing formulations around pigments, formatting them for production procedures, and collaborating with the production team to ensure product quality and colour consistency.
In this autonomous role, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding pigments and their properties
- Developing formulations around pigments
- Formatting formulations for production procedure
- Analysing and evaluating colour matches for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborating with production team to ensure product quality and colour consistency
- Keeping accurate records of colour match data and formula adjustments
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of pigments and their properties
- Previous experience in the plastics industry (desirable)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with computer software for color formulation
