Are you looking for a career in fashion planning? We have an exciting opportunity for a Fashion Planning Assistant to join our team.



About the Role

As a Fashion Planning Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the buying and planning process. You will work closely with the Planner to ensure efficient actioning of all orders, communicate with suppliers, delivery centres, and stores, and allocate merchandise effectively.



Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Planner on SWOT analysis and commentary, presenting to the Planner and Buyer
  • Assist the Planner in building and maintaining Assortment Plans and Buy Plans
  • Monitor store sales performance and review RFC stock with the Planner & Merchandise Allocator
  • Communicate with DC on despatch priorities in weekly despatch meetings
  • Process order management
  • Price Markdowns and review further markdowns
  • Leading Allocator with Distribution DC forecast and container management
  • Attend and present distribution plans at weekly meetings
  • Prepare and generate both structured and ad-hoc reports for the Planner and Buyers
  • Be an ambassador for our brand and maintain effective relationships internally and externally


Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a Planning team in the fashion retail industry ideal
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, numerical skills
  • Competent with MS suite, specifically MS Excel and Word
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
