Support Worker Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in your local community by providing high-quality in-home support services to our valued customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
  • Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress

About You:

  • Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
  • Comfortable using technology (e.g. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
  • Proof of vaccination (where relevant)
  • Current First Aid certificate/CPR
  • Current Australian Drivers License
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
  • Smart phone with internet access
  • Current Working with Children Check (preferred)
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
