Counselling Specialist

The St Vincent's Hospital Network is seeking a motivated Counsellor to join our team in the Stimulant Treatment Program.
As a key member of our progressive and innovative team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic counselling sessions, conducting psychosocial and mental health assessments, and facilitating group programs.
Role Overview:- Deliver ongoing therapeutic counselling sessions
- Conduct psychosocial and mental health assessments
- Facilitate therapeutic groups
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, or counselling
- Demonstrated experience working with drug and alcohol clients with complex needs
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Patient Record Systems
- Personal integrity and commitment to the values of St Vincent's Health Australia
- Professional certification in relevant field
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
For this permanent part-time position (0.6FTE), working 24 hours per week, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.
