Our team seeks an experienced Aircraft Technical Lead to oversee the quality and safety of aircraft systems. The role requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, technical publications, and inspection techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft structures, engines, and structural components to identify defects and ensure compliance with customer specifications and standards.
  • Evaluate repairs and modifications to ensure they meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Approve or reject work accomplished by team members to maintain quality control and adhere to technical data.
  • Develop and implement procedures for analyzing defects and interpreting quality control rejection trends.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in aircraft maintenance, inspection techniques, and FAA regulations.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft safety protocols and firefighting equipment operation.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend complex technical diagrams, drawings, charts, and publications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and personnel management skills are essential for success in this role.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
  • Ability to lift/push/pull parts and equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • May be required to occasionally lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Heavy lifting is often accomplished using mechanical devices.
