Job Opportunity

We seek an accomplished Software Engineering Manager to lead our team in delivering OEM enablement projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Recruit, motivate, and mentor the team to achieve success in product delivery.
  • Set goals with the team, prioritize tasks, and monitor team health indicators.
  • Maximise team member performance and support their career growth.
  • Coordinate with project managers, HWE, QA, and certification management teams.
  • Monitor projects from kickoff to post-mortem, handle escalations, and resolve technical challenges with OEMs.
  • Prioritise customer requests globally.
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams (Desktop, Foundations, Kernel, and Security).
  • Provide leadership on methodologies, strategies, standards, tools, and best practices.
Essential Requirements
  • A Bachelor (or higher) degree in STEM fields, preferably computer science or software engineering.
  • Proven track record in technical roles with Linux experience, preferably Ubuntu or Debian.
  • Commitment to development methodologies and maintainable code quality.
  • Experience in management responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-discipline and self-motivation to be productive in a globally distributed team.
  • Strong English language communication skills, both written and verbal.
