A senior technical leader is required to oversee cross-functional teams and deliver comprehensive solutions for key water and wastewater projects in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate multidisciplinary activities and inputs from the technical team.
- Deliver outputs on time and to a high standard.
- Bring a proactive solution-focused attitude to projects.
- Lead engineering projects and manage internal disciplines and external contractors.
- Support delivery teams during design and construction, acting in a senior leadership role.
- Undertake internal technical reviews and verification checks.
- Focus on developing project delivery expertise.
- Identify opportunities with key utility clients and future water-focused clients.
- Assist in business development opportunities, including proposal preparation.
- Facilitate design coordination and review meetings.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant Engineering field with CPEng and RPEQ (or ability to obtain).
- At least 10 years civil or process-mechanical water infrastructure engineering experience – design and construction.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, including managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Advanced knowledge of water and wastewater services and the delivery environment.
- Highly developed problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of Design and Construct or alternative delivery projects.
- Solid report writing skills.
