Project Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Lead. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and exceptional stakeholder satisfaction.

The successful candidate will lead client-facing project teams, manage internal design resources, and oversee engineering assessments across complex, multi-client projects.

You will also represent our organization in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings, enhancing our market presence.

In addition, you will deliver technically sound and innovative designs, reports, and specifications across various sectors, including health, defence, commercial, and education.

Mentoring and supporting junior engineers is also a key aspect of this role, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a design consultancy environment.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with a strong track record of client engagement and project leadership.
  • A degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical Building Services, including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) design experience on building projects.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for building client relationships and assisting with growing business pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
