Our organization is currently seeking Payments Officers to join our team in a Payments Branch role. This position plays a crucial role in supporting service providers and participants by investigating and resolving outstanding payment requests.

- Brisbane CBD, Queensland

- Up to 12-month duration (possibility of extension based on business requirements)

As an APS3 equivalent Payments Officer, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigating and resolving outstanding payment requests that have been rejected through the provider and participant portals.
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to address payment-related inquiries.
• Processing manual payments to providers and self-managed participants.
• Working within legislative, policy, and standard operating procedure guidelines to resolve payment issues.
• Contributing to decision-making within the team/work area.
• Meeting team and individual work resolution targets consistently.
• Ensuring compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks.
• Staying updated on government decision-making processes, Agency guidelines, and regulations.
