Join Arup as a Social Value and Planning Consultant

We're seeking a talented Social Value and Planning Consultant to support our NSW/ACT Social Value, Planning, Environment and Sustainability teams in delivering projects across Australia and the Pacific.

The ideal candidate will have proven consulting experience in urban planning or community development, with a focus on social impact assessment, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and project management/coordination.

We're looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing social impact assessments (SIAs) and socio-economic impact assessments (SEIAs) for various infrastructure and property projects;
  • Undertaking social and strategic planning policy reviews, social research, local site/context analysis, and baseline socio-economic data analysis;
  • Developing stakeholder engagement plans and engagement outcomes reports;
  • Preparation of proposals that respond to client needs and contextual drivers;
  • Development of project management skills.
