Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our workshop team as a Facilities Operations Assistant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely handle and move work orders and components throughout the workshop
- Coordinate the dispatch process, including wrapping and packing goods
- Assist in the preparation of parts before and after production
- Perform general cleaning and workshop maintenance to maintain safe working conditions
- Support tradespeople with various tasks as required
- Carry out local deliveries using company vehicles (as needed)
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A valid Forklift Licence
- A current Driver's Licence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks
- A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
Previous experience in a workshop, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is highly regarded.
