HR Professional - Employee Support

This dynamic role offers the opportunity to take your HR career to the next level. As an HR Advisor, you will work closely with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional employee outcomes across the entire employee lifecycle.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for providing HR support to a group of approximately 130 employees, acting as the first point of contact for HR queries and managing employee relationships effectively.
  • You will support Employee Relation matters including the grievance & disciplinary process through effective investigations.
  • You will contribute to industrial negotiations and processes such as disciplinary proceedings, EBA negotiations, and management of all industrial activities for the client group.
  • You will work closely with the HR team to monitor, review, and update HR practices aligned to legislative and business requirements.
  • You will partner with Talent Acquisition specialists to source capable talent to business units both internally and externally.
  • You will support line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing, and staff management/development.
  • You will contribute to the development of training programs, facilitating them where required, and promoting a learning culture within the organization.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field are highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in an HR Coordinator/Junior HR Advisor or Generalist capacity is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and experience with stakeholder engagement are necessary for this role.
  • A team player who is comfortable operating in a complex, evolving, and fast-paced environment is ideal.
  • A willingness to learn about Employee and Industrial Relations, as well as the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards, is expected.
