Emergency Services Officer Role Summary

This critical position involves maintaining site safety, responding to emergencies, and supporting security operations. The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance checks for emergency response systems
  • Onsite drug and alcohol screenings
  • Participation in emergency training exercises and incident responses
  • Maintenance and monitoring of emergency communication systems
  • Risk assessment and implementation of effective emergency response measures
  • Development of external relationships for mutual aid in emergency situations
  • Supporting security operations and site safety initiatives
  • Delivering first aid and pre-hospital care while liaising with Injury Management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue (or equivalent)
  • Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance)
  • Diploma of Emergency Health Care (or equivalent) - Desirable
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing Certification - Desirable
  • Valid Heavy Rigid (HR-B) Driver's Licence - Required
