Job Description:

Civil construction managers oversee the delivery of roadworks projects by ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting technical documents and standards to inform project decisions.
  • Inspecting road construction materials and practices to identify compliance or non-compliance.
  • Preparing detailed reports and documentation, including daily diaries.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to ensure timely completion and high-quality work.
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing administrative support as required.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management, and email is advantageous for administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • At least 5-7 years' experience in roadworks construction, with a focus on leadership and project management.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in crew supervision, with a strong understanding of TMR and Australian Road Construction Authority standards.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for commuting to and from sites.
  • Preference given to candidates residing in Brisbane or Queensland, or those willing to relocate for the position.
