Solar Administration Role

This position involves working with solar systems, designing and specifying domestic rooftop installations and conducting rough designs for commercial projects.

  • Designing and specifying domestic rooftop solar systems.
  • Conducting rough designs and specifications for DC electrical systems in commercial solar projects.
  • Providing technical support and quotes to sales teams.
  • Liaising with local power distributors to secure grid connections and manage documentation processes.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and electricians/installers.
  • Ensuring safety and managing costs in design processes.

You will also research and develop new ideas, standards, and procedures to enhance our operations. This includes experience in domestic solar design and projects, knowledge of solar installations and administration, understanding of DNSP or Grid approvals and compliance requirements for domestic jobs, proficiency in software such as Opensolar, Pylon, PVSYST, AUTOCAD, or similar, solid understanding of solar PV and electronics, strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
