Job Summary:
">We are seeking a skilled operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly automated glass production plant.
">About the Role:
">As a Multi-Skilled Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining glass-forming equipment. You will oversee the transformation of molten glass into high-quality glass products, ensuring that production runs smoothly and meets strict quality standards.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Operate and adjust automated forming equipment to meet production specifications">
- Inspect products, report defects, and support quality improvements">
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and assist in reducing downtime">
- Follow all safety and environmental protocols">
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve processes">
- Work closely with Hot End, Cold End, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and confidence working with automated machinery.
">A strong safety mindset and a proactive approach to safety.
">Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
">Exposure to SCADA/PLC systems and continuous production environments is desirable.
">A team player who communicates well and works collaboratively.
">Someone who's proactive and always looking for ways to improve processes.
