Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise:
    • 3+ years of experience in water mitigation/restoration project management
    • IICRC WRT certification (required); ASD and Mold certifications preferred
    • Proficiency with proper documentation of the scope of loss, Moisture Mapper, and DocuSketch
    • Knowledge of wall, floor, and ceiling assemblies to avoid costly mistakes
  • Critical Thinking:
    • Proven ability to analyze complex structural damage and develop remediation plans under tight deadlines
    • Experience managing multi-week projects with multiple stakeholders
    • Track record of defending scopes to insurance adjusters
  • Communication & Sales:
    • Ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences
    • Consultative selling skills to expand project scopes
    • Documentation that withstands adjuster scrutiny
  • Professional Qualities:
    • Resilience to handle constructive feedback from industry veterans
    • Commitment to continuous learning in a fast-evolving field
    • Composure in high-pressure, customer-facing situations
    • Willingness to work extended hours during emergencies
