Ramp Service Agents play a vital role in ensuring seamless airport operations.This role offers the opportunity to work on the tarmac, engaging in tasks such as sorting, loading, and unloading baggage and cargo, providing cabin cleaning services, and assisting with aircraft pushback.Responsibilities include:
  • Loading and unloading aircraft baggage efficiently
  • Safely transferring luggage to and from aircraft
  • Handling baggage weighing up to 35kg repetitively
  • Operating in various weather conditions and confined spaces
  • Collaborating with team members to maintain smooth operations, including sorting, loading, and unloading baggage and cargo accurately
  • Managing baggage flow for departing and arriving flights using sorting equipment and manual handling techniques effectively
Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, 24 hours a day
  • Good physical fitness for lifting up to 32kg
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Australian Citizen/Resident with unlimited work rights
  • Possession of a valid QLD driver's license and reliable transportation
