This role involves instructing and delivering a higher education tourism and hospitality management program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in the relevant discipline and coordinate or lead other staff as required.
  • Maintain effective learning environments in the classroom, provide feedback and support to students, and assess student learning outcomes using both formative and summative assessments.
  • Pursue new and effective teaching methodologies and strategies, ensuring accurate records of student progress are maintained and reported to relevant parties.
Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and Professional Development
  • Engage in professional development activities to enhance the quality of teaching and stay up to date with current and emerging principles and practices.
  • Develop and implement improved teaching methods through continuous assessment and analysis.
Contribution to the Institution
  • Report incidents of potential breaches of policies governing students and maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Perform administrative duties as directed and assist with advancing the fieldwork placement program.
