Tourism and Hospitality Management Lecturer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tourism and Hospitality Management Lecturer. We are seeking a highly qualified individual to lead the development, improvement, and delivery of our higher education program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and learning, scholarship of teaching and learning and professional development, and service to the institution. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality education and training programs.
- Teaching and Learning: Deliver independent teaching in the relevant discipline, ensure effective and engaging learning, provide feedback and support to students, and assess student learning outcomes.
- Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and Professional Development: Participate in professional development activities, develop and implement improved teaching methods, and maintain active membership of professional connections.
- Service to the Institution: Report incidents, assist with duties required to advance the fieldwork placement program, and perform other administrative duties as directed.
We are looking for an individual with extensive hospitality and/or tourism leadership experience, a minimum master's degree in tourism, hospitality or food and beverage environment, and the ability to relate to current gastronomic practices and standards.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality education and training programs are essential.
