Financial Crime Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Crime Prevention Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role:
  • Transform and optimise financial crime functions by adopting new technologies and processes to detect and prevent financial crime
  • Manage and mitigate risk associated with financial crime; and
  • Conduct assurance and review compliance to support regulatory requirements
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within a national team that has deep experience supporting organisations with their financial crime risk and compliance
  • Increase your profile and experience by working with leading organisations in Australia providing vital roles in the prevention, detection, and deterrence of criminal activity
  • Lead the development of proposals to meet client requirements and strategic objectives
  • Deliver financial crime prevention services to top-tier clients across advisory, implementation, and operations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in financial crime (AML/CTF or Sanctions) with a professional consulting environment, a financial institution, or a regulatory agency
  • Excellent expertise in Australian AML/CTF regulatory regime or industry best practice
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle and analyse financial information
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to present findings for various audiences
