Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Chef to lead our kitchen team.
As Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for managing the pass, driving the kitchen team and overseeing ordering systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the pass and drive the kitchen team.
- Confidently oversee ordering systems and procedures.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality and presentation across all dishes.
- Have a good understanding of Excel and scheduling software.
- Uphold food safety standards.
- Step in to lead the kitchen when necessary.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior chefs, cooks and apprentices.
- Create and promote a fun work environment.
Requirements:
- 3 years' experience in a senior role in a high-end restaurant.
- Italian cuisine and pasta making experience preferred but not essential.
- High attention to detail and finesse.
- Good organizational skills.
- A positive attitude.
