Senior Intellectual Property Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Intellectual Property Attorney to join our Sydney team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising on a wide range of intellectual property and media matters, including trade marks, copyright, patents, and defamation.
Key Responsibilities- Acting in IP and media disputes, including trade mark infringement, patent infringement, and copyright infringement cases.
- Providing strategic advice on trade mark prosecution and related matters, including clearance searches and trade mark agreements.
- Conducting patent infringement and revocation cases in the Patent Office and Federal Court, as well as trade mark opposition and removal actions in the Trade Marks Office.
- Advising on ancillary areas such as regulation and advertising of food and beverage products, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and domain name disputes.
- Participating in complex project and commercial transactions, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating IP and media provisions in infrastructure projects and energy transition projects.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in IP and/or media law.
- Experience in a broad range of contentious and non-contentious IP and/or media matters.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- A competitive salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum.
