About the Role:

EML Group is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology infrastructure and ensuring the seamless delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the establishment of a Cloud Solution Architecture practice and the adoption of a cloud-first strategy.
  • Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, design, and implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Review business context for solutions to company challenges and define the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options and selecting the most optimal solution.
  • Develop solutions architecture roadmaps and application portfolios for IT systems architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical capabilities.
  • Responsible for the creation of our Multicloud current state and future state vision and architecture, driving the adoption of Kubernetes and the strategy and migration to this technology.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of years of experience related to IT Management, Software Engineering, or other information technology solutions architecture role.
  • Hands-on experience with.netcore, C#.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs and change.
  • Experience in software engineering and design architecture.
  • Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes as it relates to Architecture requirements.
  • Familiarity with, and demonstrated use of, Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachmann, NIST, and BizBok.
  • Experience with agile tools and methodologies, such as Kanban, Scrum, Confluence, and JIRA.
