Advanced Hearing Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled hearing care professional to join our team in a 12-month fixed term contract, working on a part-time or full-time basis depending on your preferences.

As a leading provider of hearing health care services, we offer the opportunity to work with innovative tools and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and assess client hearing loss using advanced techniques and technologies
  • Report results in writing and make referrals to medical practitioners as necessary
  • Recommend solutions for clients with hearing impairment, including amplification and implantable devices
  • Provide counseling and advice to clients and families throughout the treatment process
  • Develop and manage strategies to prevent and mitigate noise-induced hearing loss
  • Treat and manage age-related, disability-related, and injury-related hearing and communication disorders
What You Need To Succeed:
  • University degree in audiology or TAFE qualification in audiometry
  • Membership of relevant professional associations and current registration as a Qualified Practitioner
  • Strong knowledge of audiological principles and practices
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to deliver high-quality client experiences
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies with training
  • Proven ability to meet performance targets and achieve key performance indicators
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
  • Good teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to network with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
  • Australian residency and eligibility to work in Australia
