Senior Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Senior Operations Manager will provide strategic leadership and management support to the Principal, ensuring the effective operation of the college's administrative functions. This role involves teaching responsibilities and requires strong leadership and organisational skills.

  • Rostering: Playground duty, meetings schedule, beginning/end of year staff duties
  • Parent-Teacher Interviews
  • Timetable Construction and Maintenance
  • Evacuations and Lockdown Procedures
  • Staff Replacements/Covers
  • Schedule Organisation for Events
  • Assist with Assemblies and modify daily routine as required
  • Exam Scheduling and Staffing
  • Calendar Management: School Year, Assessment Calendars
  • Excursion Approvals
  • Liaise with Sport Coordinator for Carnivals
  • Liaise with Cultural Coordinator for Concerts
  • NAPLAN and PAT Testing: Scheduling and Implementation
  • Expert Teaching Team Support: Developing Teacher Capacity
  • Grievance and Complaint Process: Dealing with Parents, Students and Staff

Key Responsibilities:

This is a key member of the College Leadership Team who plays a pivotal role in the overall success of our school community. The ideal candidate will have experience in operational management and possess exceptional leadership skills.

  • Proven experience in operational management
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Education or related field
