Software Asset Management Specialist

This is a key role within our organisation, responsible for maintaining best practice around eHealth Queensland's Software Asset Management Framework.

  • Maintain and develop policies, procedures, strategies, tools, work instructions and standards to ensure compliance with software asset management principles.
  • Identify and mitigate software licencing risks and issues through collaborative working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strategically analyse software auditing and metering data to identify business improvement opportunities and implement actionable plans.
  • Provide high level specialist advice and support on software licencing risks and issues, proposing initiatives to mitigate risks.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge of software asset management, including the ability to provide specialist advice and support.
  • Excellent communication skills, adapting communications to suit diverse audiences.
  • High level research, analytical and problem-solving skills, identifying issues and risks across the business.
  • Strong understanding and application of ITIL principles in software asset management.
