As a Project Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of managing engineering design packages and supporting small to medium engineering consulting projects within the Resources sector. Your primary goal is to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Execution: Ensure the successful completion of projects by achieving project objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance procedures and monitor project progress to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Hands-On Management: Provide hands-on support to project managers in civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering disciplines.
  • Time and Budget Management: Assist in managing project schedules, costs, and budgets to ensure compliance with project scope, regulatory requirements, and client standards.
  • Field Support: Provide support during fieldwork, including commissioning and reviewing drawings and documents prepared by senior designers and engineers.
  • Commercial Outcomes: Achieve commercial success by effectively managing your own time and budget, as well as those of other team members, and reporting on project financial performance.
Requirements:
  • A relevant tertiary degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management or project engineering within the Resources sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of project delivery methods, applicable codes, and specifications associated with resources projects.
