The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting across all Jaybro Group companies by implementing robust financial processes and controls. This fast-paced role reports to the Group Financial Controller and requires the ability to drive Improvement projects across the finance team.

We are looking for a self-starter with exceptional stakeholder management skills who can deliver high-quality financial statements, tax returns, and board reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial reporting, analytical, communication, organisational skills, and the ability to work with all levels of management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing month end reporting for the group
  • Preparing relevant tables and analysis of balance for group management reporting and the board
  • Performing relevant tax duties including, preparation of tax return, monthly estimate of tax provisions and payment of monthly income tax
  • Completing financial reporting as required including the completion of financial accounts and all relevant disclosures
  • Monitoring and completing reconciliations for the Group
  • Assisting Financial Controller with budgeting process
  • Weekly monitoring of hedge position
  • Contributing to the preparation of audits

In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess a relevant accounting qualification, advanced excel knowledge, and experience working in a group structure with multiple subsidiaries.

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a hybrid model of work, generous leave entitlements, and access to professional development programs.
