Senior Manager, Investigations Job Description

The role of Senior Manager, Investigations involves leading a team of workplace investigators within a Professional Standards and Behaviours Department.

  • Oversee initial assessments to determine whether to investigate complaints of inappropriate workplace behaviour.
  • Manage employee investigations in accordance with Enterprise Agreements.
  • Develop and improve investigative processes, practices, and frameworks to ensure timely and industry best practice standards.
  • Coach and mentor investigation team members in best practice investigations and ongoing professional development.
  • Provide guidance and advice on misconduct matters to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess qualifications in Law, Human Resources, or equivalent, and extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and high-level relevant experience.

  • Extensive relevant experience in the management, leadership, and resolution of misconduct matters within a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Highly developed written skills.
  • Significant experience conducting complex, sensitive, person-centred, trauma-informed workplace investigations.
