Automotive Mechanic Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues in range of taxi vehicles engines, brakes and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance needs in a friendly and clear manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience along with formal qualifications (at least Certificate III)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
