GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant trade certificate
  • Post-trade experience in mining, heavy earth-moving, or hydraulic excavator industry
  • Alignment with our principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation, & Delivery
  • Current Standard 11, open driver's license, and relevant coal mining certifications
  • Ability to work safely and comply with Site Safety, Health, and Management System

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Auto Electrician, you will:

  • Service, repair, and maintain mobile mining equipment following Thiess procedures
  • Perform general maintenance, breakdown repairs, component change-outs, and services
  • Conduct inspections to maximize equipment utilization
  • Install, wire, and test equipment to high standards

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
  • Refrigerated handling license (advantageous)
  • Experience in mining, heavy earth-moving equipment, or hydraulic excavators
  • Experience with diagnostics and systems such as JDE, OEM systems, Cat, Cummins, Hitachi, Liebherr
