Our organisation seeks an experienced and skilled Tradesperson to provide auto electrical support in underground and surface workshops.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, as well as providing technical expertise and support to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
This role involves working collaboratively with diverse professionals who prioritise work-life balance while maintaining a high-performance culture.
We operate two underground mines and a processing facility in New South Wales and have a strong portfolio of organic growth prospects in the region.
- Key Responsibilities
- Performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks on mobile equipment to prevent downtime and optimise performance
- Providing expert technical advice and support to colleagues across underground and surface workshops
- Maintaining excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with electrical and hydraulic systems
- Fostering a positive and inclusive work culture through effective communication and teamwork
Requirements
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Experience working in an underground hardrock mine
- Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence
- Excellent problem-solving skills with electrical and hydraulic systems
