Job Overview

The role of a Green Space Operations Manager is to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of gardens, parks, and other green spaces. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of garden maintenance staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Develop and implement schedules to prioritize tasks and maintain timely completion of garden maintenance activities.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to enhance horticultural skills and safety practices within the team.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • White Card.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Ride on mower and trailer experience.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
