Work in a Team to Maintain Green Spaces

We are looking for Works Assistants to join our team and help maintain the City's parks, playgrounds, reserves, public amenities and Botanic Gardens.

In this varied role, you will be part of a team that takes pride in keeping the City looking great. Your tasks will include:

  • Maintaining public spaces clean, safe and well-maintained
  • Supporting horticultural, turf maintenance and Botanic Gardens programs
  • Operating equipment and assisting with small plant and truck tasks
  • Using mobile technology to plan and report on work

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Cert III in Horticulture, Civil Construction or relevant experience
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • A passion for working outdoors and a strong work ethic
  • Reliability, teamwork and problem-solving skills
What We Offer
  • $29.51 per hour + 12% superannuation
  • Multiple Permanent Full-Time positions of 38 hours per week
