About Our Green Spaces Team

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining vibrant and healthy green spaces that enhance the beauty of our local communities. With your strong foundation in horticulture and garden maintenance, you have earned a reputation for delivering exceptional results with reliability and expertise.

  • ChemCERT holder with at least 1 year's experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • A strong team player who pitches in when needed to ensure seamless project execution.
  • A keen eye for detail and practical approach to solving problems effectively.
  • Safety-conscious and committed to keeping yourself, your team and the public safe from potential hazards.
  • A full driver's license is required for travel to different job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and applying pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers according to strict safety protocols.
  • Applying chemicals for weed control and eradication to maintain optimal green space health.
  • Operating and maintaining spray equipment following established safety standards to prevent accidents.
  • Maintaining accurate records of chemical applications and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations to avoid fines or penalties.
  • Identifying and reporting weed infestations promptly to prevent further growth.
  • Removing weeds mechanically when necessary to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Conducting routine litter clean-up and reporting any damage or issues to the management team.
