Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Solution/Data Architect to join our Corporate Operations Group, aligned to our Treasury Architecture function. This role will engage with stakeholders across every division of Macquarie, applying architecture expertise to develop strategic and practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultancy to stakeholders on technology impacts and strategic guidance to ensure consistent and accurate enterprise architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to frame the problem space, assess feasible options, align with strategic direction, and value over different time horizons.
  • Develop solution architectures for retail and commercial banking, leveraging modern technologies used in data management, integration, cloud (hyper-scalers), and security.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years' experience in solution and data architecture, delivering solution architectures in retail and commercial banking.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with stakeholders to frame the problem space, assess feasible options, align with strategic direction, and value over different time horizons.
  • Understanding of modern technologies used in data management, integration, cloud (hyper-scalers), and security.
  • Exposure to data mesh and/or domain-driven design.
  • Prior experience in working on large, transformation projects in the Treasury domain will be highly regarded.

Estimated Salary

This role comes with an estimated annual salary of $180,000 - $250,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
