Job Title: Strategic Communications Officer

We are seeking a skilled Communications and Content Officer to join our team in Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver internal communications, including business and project communication plans.
  • Manage CEO communications.
  • Oversee social media channels.
  • Develop and simplify complex concepts for community audiences using appropriate tone and language.
  • Manage and produce high-quality content for internal and external channels (e.g., newsletters, reports, speeches, digital platforms).


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated skills in stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and project management.
  • Essential plain language writing skills: simplifying complex concepts and building trust through tone.
  • Strong content development and editing skills: attention to detail, grammar, structure, accessibility, and readability.
  • Ability to manage and produce high-quality content across various channels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills for managing multiple projects and deadlines.
