About the Role

This challenging position provides evidence-based assessment, formulation, and intervention for a wide range of mental health disorders and systemic barriers preventing clients from entering employment or beginning study.

You will support customers to address their non-vocational barriers and develop their skills and job readiness. The role may also involve delivering training relevant to the field and consultancy with other service providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate competence in applying a wide range of therapeutic interventions to consumers with complex needs.
  • Build positive interpersonal and external relationships with staff and other agencies.
  • Deliver 1:1 counselling intervention with clients and problem-solve complex presenting co-morbidities.
  • Group training and psychoeducation relevant to the field.
  • Work independently as an effective team member across multiple sites and teams.
  • Time management and administration skills and computer literacy.
  • Culturally diverse client base, employers, and staff.
  • Resolve conflict effectively.
  • Sound understanding of available mental health and support services.
Requirements
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, or Mental Health Counselling.
