We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our site reliability team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of our applications, used by over 5 million people.

As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, as well as participating in key initiatives to improve our platform's capability, standards, and risk profile.

You will work closely with our technology team to identify and resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Participate in key initiatives to improve our platform's capability, standards, and risk profile
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable software solutions
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in developing public Web Applications and APIs
  • Excellent debugging skills; able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components
  • Passion for continually improving the people and processes within your team
  • Expert knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with modern software engineering practices such as Trunk development, Unit Testing, and Test Driven Development (TDD)
