We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to support the maintenance forward planning for all physical assets allocated to our major container handling site. Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Superintendent, you will lead by example in executing safe work practices and ensure continual identification and management of hazards.

  • You will provide leadership in all areas associated with the execution of tasks for this position
  • Ensure full compliance with OHS&E statutory requirements and respond appropriately to any incidents in line with safety procedures and policies
  • Develop short and long-term maintenance plans for all equipment and schedule and monitor all aspects of service requirements
  • Manage warranty claims and regulate and schedule major repairs in consultation with the Maintenance Planning Superintendent
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of short and long-term maintenance plans for all equipment
  • Schedule and monitor all aspects of service requirements and manage warranty claims
  • Regulate and schedule major repairs in consultation with the Maintenance Planning Superintendent
  • Monitor work order information and update the maintenance system to ensure accurate data history is recorded
  • Plan and manage short term and major maintenance projects and prepare maintenance project scope of works

This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance planning management related to heavy industry, associated workshops, planning and equipment. You must have prior knowledge and operation of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and be able to resolve computer software issues relating to CMMS.

The ideal candidate will have competencies in training and assessing, particularly in confined spaces. They will also possess knowledge of heavy plant and equipment scheduled and unscheduled maintenance management plans and techniques.
