Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute maintenance plans ensuring tools, spares, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date and readily available.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and manage administrative tasks related to engineering.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions, identify potential issues, and lead the implementation of solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong team dynamics, implement performance management strategies, and promote open communication channels.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards by implementing best practices for a safe work environment.

About You:

  • Experience managing maintenance teams in fast-paced environments with excellent communication and influencing skills to manage stakeholders is essential.
  • Proficiency in high-speed packaging lines, particularly in the beverage industry, is preferred.
  • You possess expertise in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and familiarity with Continuous Improvement Processes (GEM).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills are necessary.
  • Previous experience working with external contractors and overseeing their performance is required.
  • Expertise with FMCG machinery and the ability to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is crucial.
  • A-Grade Electrician Licence or relevant Engineering and Maintenance Management qualifications are highly valued.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives is desirable.
