Job Title: Technical Solutions Director

SATCOM technical teams rely on effective leadership to deliver solutions and services to customers. As a key member of the management team, this role oversees the direction and management of SATCOM technical projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical guidance and leadership to SATCOM project teams
  • Ensure timely delivery of contracted statements of work for customers
  • To maintain product configuration baselines in accordance with established standards
  • Perform assurance checks on delivered product solutions and services
  • To develop and implement engineering processes and procedures
  • Oversight of professional development for engineers and technical personnel

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in leading multi-disciplined technical teams
  • Proven track record of delivering complex Information Technology capabilities using Systems Engineering and Agile approaches
  • Practical knowledge and experience in software and/or IT fields
  • Hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Possess current Australian government NV1 security clearance
  • Eligible to access ITAR controlled technology

This role requires a strong background in technical leadership, excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and direct technical teams to achieve project goals.
