Operations Team Leader

About this Role

The Operations Team Leader plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities to team members.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive work culture and encouraging open communication.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping standards, performing regular inspections and assigning cleaning duties as needed.
  • React quickly to changing customer requirements, building strong relationships with team members and contractors.
  • Schedule plant maintenance, minimizing overtime and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, identifying hazards and developing safe work procedures.
  • Monitor and report on team productivity and KPIs, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, with the ability to develop and implement safe work practices.
